2021 WFDU-FM Virtual Fund Drive

This year WFDU celebrates its 50th anniversary. It is clear that  our 49th and 50th years have been and will be the most challenging times in the station's history. With all of the challenges this pandemic has thrown at us, WFDU, the little radio station that could, is still chugging along.

We’d like to keep chugging along, but we need your help. Don’t let WFDU’s 50th year be its last!

With all of the COVID-19 related restrictions and out of concern for the health and safety of our staff, this year’s fund drive will be different than years’ past. Since we’re not physically at the station, this year’s February Fund Drive will be completely virtual.

Here’s how you can help:

  • Donate online (Click Here). All major credit cards are accepted and it’s super fast, easy and safe. This is our preferred method!
  • If you’ve donated in the past three years we will automaticallybe sending you our virtual fund drive mailer. Inside will be all the info you need. Not to mention, a form that you can fill out and a business return envelope that you can mail back to us with your donation. Mailers are expected to arrive by the 2nd week of February.
  • If you’ve never donated before, you can request our virtual fund drive mailer be sent to you. Email wfdu@fdu.edu or leave a message at 201-692-2806 (option 0). Be sure to leave your name and address clearly and spell out any difficult names, streets or cities.
  • Send us your donation directly. Make checks and money orders payable to ‘WFDU” and mail to:

1000 River Road (T-WFDU)

Teaneck, NJ 07666

WFDU will not be offering premiums of any kind during this campaign. The goal of this fund drive is to help us weather the storm. If you like what you hear on WFDU and you would like to see it continue, please consider making a donation. It is our hope that by the Spring, things will be better and restrictions will be lifted. At that time, we will hold a more traditional fundraising event where premiums will be offered.

Even though we’re not at the radio station physically, we still have to pay our bills. It costs a lot of money to keep this radio station running, now more than ever. The station must survive so the music can survive. Help see WFDU through to it 51st year! Give what you can today.
