
Steve Dembowski
Steve Dembowski retired as a Captain of Detectives for the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office after a 27.5 year career. He worked in numerous investigative squads as a detective and was the Lieutenant in charge of the Intelligence Division and served as the Bergen County terrorism coordinator.
At FDU, Steve is the Director of the BCC-FDU Scholars Program. Most recently, Steve was named the Director of External Relations in Life-Long Learning. Steve assists all law enforcement and first responders in obtaining their undergraduate or Master’s Degrees. Prior to this, Steve was the Assistant Dean of Students for Athletic Engagement and Judicial Affairs serving as the Chief Judicial Officer.
Steve is married to is wife Gina and has three children, Courtney, Amanda and Jake.
