Mayor Pete
Mayor Pete grew up in Teaneck and got his start in radio during college, where he quickly developed a passion for broadcasting. After graduation, he did some commercial radio before settling in Tenafly in 1980.
Deeply committed to public service, he served as Mayor of Tenafly from 2003 to 2019, becoming the town’s first Independent Mayor. Throughout his tenure, he focused on fostering community engagement and promoting nonpartisan leadership.
In 2023, he returned to his broadcasting roots by joining WFDU, where he continues to bring compelling content and a seasoned voice to the airwaves.
