Marc Cantor
Marc Cantor has been a fan of music since the mid sixties. He has been an avid listener of radio in the Tri State area since then. In the beginning, he started out listening to WABC. When FM started becoming more popular, he moved over to WPLJ and eventually WNEW-FM. Soon after that station changed format he discovered WAXQ. Later on he learned about non commercial radio, starting with WFUV and finally ending up listening to WFDU. He is grateful to the following people at the station for giving him this opportunity and helping him get ready. Duff, Bob H., Mike P. and finally Gale M., his mentor and friend.
Marc, in addition to having a full time job, is an active musician, playing in various bands over the years, from folk rock to classic rock. His main instrument is guitar, but can also play bass and mandolin.
Marc has been married for 38 years to Debbie and they have two children, Jeremy 31 and Sara 26. He is most thankful for his family.
