Radio Veteran Mark Chernoff Joins WFDU

NYC radio veteran Mark Chernoff will be joining the WFDU on-air lineup starting on Wednesday March 19^th from 9a-1pm!

Mark comes to us with a wealth of experience in the NYC radio market, as a highly regarded Program Director at such iconic stations as WFAN, WNEW, K-Rock, and WDHA. His firsthand experience at these cherished radio stations, which our listeners have such fond memories of, will be a true delight for them and an incredible asset for our team! He has a deep passion for our format, and after years in management, is excited to get back to the pure fun of being a DJ again.

We want to take a moment to thank Michael Phillips for handling the Wednesday shift for so long. This programming change will help in making him more available as we work on key technical improvements at the station.

I know that the WFDU community will give him a warm welcome and we look forward to hearing his stories on-the-air!
