FDU Provost Ben Rifkin visits WFDU as a guest on "Dembo's Den"

Public Affairs host Steve Dembowski interviewed the Provost of Fairleigh Dickinson University, Ben Rifkin, on his show "Dembo's Den"!

A Bergen County native, he shared his journey from discovering his passion for languages to spending 15+ years on the faculty at the University of Wisconsin–Madison—and what ultimately brought him back home to New Jersey. He talked about the professor who encouraged him early on and how he now strives to offer that same support to students.

Rifkin is the author of several books, dozens of scholarly articles, and co-author of well-known Russian-language textbooks. His current work centers on compassion and global citizenship in the liberal arts.
